Edmonton Oilers captain has landed on the NHL&#8217;s Stars of the Week list for the second time this season, for a week that saw him rack up four goals and eight points in three games.

Named second star, McDavid&#8217;s big week came at a big time for the Oilers, as they pushed a franchise-record winning streak to 16 games, one short of tying the NHL record set by the 1992-93 Pittsburgh Penguins. He kicked it off with a one-goal performance against the Columbus Blue Jackets last Tuesday, then contributed to each of the Oilers&#8217; seven other goals to close out the week.
He posted a two-goal, three-point performance in a 3-0 win over the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday, then — in Connor McDavid fashion — teamed up with Leon Draisaitl to dominate the Nashville Predators Saturday afternoon. There, McDavid put up a goal and four points in their 4-1 win.

Named first star for this week was Tampa Bay Lightning winger Nikita Kucherov, who scored four goals and nine points in three games. He notched a hat trick and four points against the Philadelphia Flyers on Jan. 23, with a goal and three points two days later against the Arizona Coyotes. He capped it off with two assists Saturday against the New Jersey Devils.
Third star of the week belongs to Florida Panthers winger Matthew Tkachuk, who put up four goals and eight points in four games. His week kicked off with a goal and assist against the Predators last Monday, then two gaols and three points in a game against the Coyotes Wednesday. On Friday, he put up an assist in a shootout win over the Pittsburgh Penguins, capping his week off with a one-goal, two-point performance Saturday against the New York Islanders.
