<p>All of you fine folks that are into goalie mask designs got some good news this morning as the Edmonton Oilers released pictures of Stuart Skinner&#8217;s new mask for the 2022-23 NHL season, and if I do say so myself, it&#8217;s a think of beauty.</p>

<p>If you&#8217;re of the mind that looking good means feeling good, then Stuart Skinner&#8217;s new mask design is already a step in the right direction. Much like <a href="https://publish.oilersnation.com/2022/09/12/edmonton-oilers-reveal-jack-campbells-new-goalie-mask/">Jack Campbell&#8217;s mask design</a> that we talked about a little while back, Skinner went with a classic design that features all of the colours and touchpoints any Oilers fan would love and appreciate. We&#8217;ve got the classic colour scheme, we&#8217;ve got an oil drop on either side of the lid, we&#8217;ve got the gears, and we&#8217;ve got the &#8216;Stuey&#8217; nickname front and centre to let everyone know who they&#8217;re dealing with. Personally, I think Skinner nailed it. And on a personal level, I can&#8217;t help but wonder how excited he is to get this season going and know that he&#8217;s going to be a big part of his hometown team going forward. I mean, how cool is that?</p>
<p>As for his thoughts on the Oilers returning to the classic blue and orange unis that we&#8217;ve all been clamouring for? Our girl Kylie asked for his thoughts.</p>
