Syvret and Perry were captain and assistant captain for the 2004-05 London group that topped the OHL regular season, won the J. Ross Robertson Cup, and took home the team’s first Memorial Cup.
Both players were named to the OHL First All-Star team that season, with Syvret posting an OHL record plus-70 rating, and Perry leading the league with 130 points, part of his all-time franchise lead in points overall with 380 in 253 games played.
Their strong performances contributed to the team’s 31-game undefeated streak that season, a CHL record.
Syvret was drafted by the Oilers in 2005 after playing 246 games with the Knights. He was with the franchise for nearly three seasons, playing mostly in the AHL, before being traded to the Philadelphia Flyers.
Also on the dominant 2004-05 team, Schremp registered 13 points in 14 playoff games that season en route to their multiple championships. His 89 total playoff points for London is the most for any Knights player, one ahead of Perry’s 88.
Schremp started in the AHL after three seasons in London and played seven games with the Oilers across three seasons before he was claimed off waivers by the Islanders in 2009.
Debuting in the 2015-16 season, Bouchard was part of the second Knights team to bring home the Memorial Cup. The Oakville native played four seasons in London, serving as captain for the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons.
Bouchard registered 236 points in 262 career games with the Knights, including 35 points in 39 playoff games, the third-highest tally for any defenceman in franchise history.
The four Oilers named to the Knights’ Quarter-Century team slot in amongst a talented roster, which includes the likes of Mitch Marner, Patrick Kane, and Matthew Tkachuk.
